The client had specific needs for this project. She is a curator that deals with large format pieces, all print or painted. She needed the design to be highly flexible and she wanted the art to be the main focus of attention.
The plan was developed by creating a large centrifugal force caught by large free-standing walls. This center was configured by a large suspended plane that had a 110 degree rotation allowing the reconfiguration of flows for distinct qualities of space and art pieces.
In this manner the architecture was to take its place in the background, and the observer was placed in direct relationship to the art by the direction of the flows.
